There are some things in this world that really get me freaked out. And not just that but stressed out as well. So I guess you can call this my 10 biggest stressed out situation and fears list.
1. Spiders!
I know all you spider phobia people out there are cringing right now. This suddenly brings flashbacks of the movie Arachnophobia. That movie freaked me out so bad that to this day I have post par tum reactions. That my friends is how much spiders freak me out. This is my #1 biggest fear.
2. Pain
Yeah I don't like pain. That's all I'm gonna say on that
3. Needles
Ugh! does this make anyone else scared? I DO NOT LIKE NEEDLES. I guess this can fall in the category of pain as well. Needles=pain. I hate it when a doctor says "just relax," right before they stick you with one of these things. Okay how do I relax when I know I will be in pain for...oh I don't know...eternity?! that's how it feel sometimes.
4. Dying Alone
No one wants to die alone. I want to be around my loved ones.
5. Getting Sick While Pregnant
Okay this is my biggest worry. When my sister was pregnant she couldn't take anything stronger than a Tylenol. I don't get headaches I get migraines. Tylenol isn't gonna cut it for me people. I need something much stronger. Again that goes along with how much I don't like pain.
6. Never Having a Family of my own.
7. Being Alone In My House Alone
I like being alone in my house sometimes. It's nice to have a little break from people. But for long periods of time and at night, I don't like it.
8. Loosing My Mind
I had a great grandmother who lived to be 101 years old. She couldn't see very well but she still had her mind. She could remember all the birthdays of every grandchild and great grandchild and all her children. She was amazing. If I live to be that old I would want my mind to be in tact.
9. Growing old
Does this pictures make anyone else cringe? Yeah that's how I feel about getting old.
10. Not Having My Health
I am an active person. I have to be active. If I don't go to the gym or do something that gets my hear rate going I feel like blah!! I hate that feeling.
Okay now that I have shared with you, it's your turn to share with me. Let me know what your biggest fears are.

I kind of giggled about the "post par tum reactions" to spiders. Postpartum = after childbirth. I know what you meant is that you have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) from watching Arachniphobia. I think we all do.
ReplyDeleteMy fears include heights (especially over water), clowns, birds, costumed characters at theme parks, something bad happening to my children, and getting cancer. My father died from cancer a couple years ago, and his slow deterioration from the disease really scared me. I don't want that to happen to me.
Nikol,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your father dying from cancer.
OMG Clowns!! I hate clowns. They are so freaky.
I have so many ridiculous piddly fears I'd better not list them -- gotta say that I do agree with you about keeping your mind sane.
ReplyDelete3 out of 4 grandparents had mental decline that was really depressing- the 4th had heart problems but was completely coherent until he died. Please let me end up like that too (minus the heart issues since they ultimately lead to his death)- I'm quite the Debbie Downer with this post :D
Ugh! I had to scroll past that spider REAL fast! I share with you the fear of spiders and needles. Horrible.
ReplyDeleteI fear..........getting old ( and I am ), losing my mind ( and I think that's happening), getting fat ( I am trying to lose) oh and dying.
ReplyDeleteHedgehogs (yes, really. Serious, intense phobias. Even pictures of them freak me out and make me yell a lot).
ReplyDeleteDying suddenly or young, especially of a heart attack.
Ending up alone (without friends, or a partner, or any family - I have a tiny family).
I only just started following your blog and I already feel I know you very well after this post - I think a lot of your fears are universal.
Ha! Those are all understandable. I'm afraid of some of those things, but also add mannequins and dolls. Oh, and jerusalem crickets. I found one once and I honestly thought it was an alien.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about growing old. We all have to face it. Some just know how to do it gracefully.
You're blog is so fun! I'm passing on the Versatile Blog Award and I picked your blog for my list of 15 blogs to choose. You can check out the award details over on my blog!
ReplyDeleteAlso, totally cringe when I see that spider! I hate it, biggest fear I think I have is disappointing people and my own failure. I would also have to say I fear suffering from a stroke or other neurological accident that leaves you dependent on someone else, awful, I've seen it first hand.
Oh, and to comment on your previous post, totally hear ya, I'm working on the same thing too!! Portion control!!!
Judy, Gayle and Ellen,
ReplyDeleteyou all have added to my list of fears. it's not 10 biggest fears anymore it's more like 15! :-D Thank you for you comments.
Cody,
OMG!! that made me laugh so hard about the Jerusalem cricket. I'm gonna google it right now.
Natasha,
Wow! that's great thank you! I'm glad you like my blog.
