I watched Mermaids for the first time in years today. I was obsessed with this movie growing up. I always wanted the pink and blue polka-dot dresses Cher wore. I also loved her mermaid costume she wore. Absolutely fabulous!

I LOVED that movie ... Winona was such a great love-struck teen.
ReplyDeleteI know!! Winona was so dramatic in this movie. It made me wonder if I was like that when I was 15. Then I though "wait! I was just like her!"
ReplyDeleteI also thought Cher played her character really great. I thought she played a great mother.
OMGosh I used to love that movie. I haven't thought about it in years. Now I will have to find it and watch :)

ReplyDeleteMy daughter (almost 22) loved this movie growing up too, but she was also afraid to watch it alone (water scene).
oh yes!! I always fast forward that scene. I hate it!
