I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do the same.

It's okay...
To be cleaning like mad when company is coming on Wednesday. It’s funny but when I was younger and my Mom would be cleaning for visitors I’d be all, “Why bother cleaning? It's just going to get dirty like an hour after they arrive anyway."

Now I get it.
To be glad that we aren’t getting slammed with a blizzard. I'm sure most of you reading this probably are. Don't worry our time here will come.
To pretend that everything is fat free on the weekends.
To not really enjoy It’s A Wonderful Life. I can start watching it but never really enjoy it or make it through the whole thing without falling asleep. I LOVE the colored version of Miracle on 34th Street. But I can't get into this classic.
To pig out on the rolls they give you at Texas Roadhouse. Have you tried them? Seriously so good. I don't know what it is but DANG! I’m sure the waitress gets irritated having to bring a new basket every few minutes.
To have been a little disturbed when grown women get all crazy when watching the movie Twilight and go all nuts when either of the male lead character take off their shirts. I had a friend who would go mental just by mentioning a certain scene in one of the movies. Her breathing became quick and short and I think I saw a tear glimmer in the corner of her eye. *I backed away slowly…*

Thank goodness I'm not the only person IN THE WORLD that doesn't love It's A Wonderful Life. Yikes. Never saw what everyone else see's in it.
ReplyDeleteI love its a wonderful Life. But it is hard for me to watch for me because it is soooo sad... I have never cried in a movie as much as that one... I thought about it for days. It is such a good movie, but sooooo sad and touching.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea!! You should do a linky!
ReplyDeleteMarci-Thank you! What is a linky? :-)
ReplyDeleteHeather-I'm sorry that movie is so sad for you. Maybe it won't be as time goes one. :-)
Dazee-I'm glad I'm not the only one either. LOL that post made me laugh.
